I celebrated Mother's Day with this sweet little boy, and a little baby on the way!I have an awesome mom that is always there for me, and she is also the best Mawmaw in the world!
God gave me the opportunity to be the momma to this sweaty little mess!
Dylan is growing up in his Daddy's footsteps, golf club in hand!
Life has brought on a whole new meaning since he came into my life!
What a great Mother's Day weekend! We enjoyed family time just the "4" of us and then family time on Sunday. We ended the weekend with playtime outside, Dylan's favorite place to be!

Memphis Zoo!
Oh man did we have fun on our Memphis Zoo trip! Believe it or not, this was the first time we actually had been somewhere just the 3 of us! Our other vacations have been with parents, family, etc. The Memphis Zoo is really great! We got there when it opened at 9 and stayed for 4 hours! The highlight of the zoo for everyone was the giraffes. They have 6 of them and one dude was mighty friendly! He came right up to us. Dylan pointed to him and said, "Look e dere (there)! Long neck!" He loved loved loved them! Of course, the e-wants (elephants) and gorillas were a hit too! We ate awesome BBQ at the Commissary in Germantown. Dylan LOVED it!
We also had to hit the Disney store since we don't have one here at home. Dylan went straight for the Mickey Mouse section. We came away with a Mickey soccer ball and a little hand held Mickey fan.
He enjoyed getting his own "dinks" out of the refrigerator in our hotel room! We were very proud of him. He slept all night both nights and took a 2+ hour nap after the zoo. We wore the baby OUT!
The ride home wasn't quite as happy as the ride there. Due to I-40 being closed down from Memphis to LR due to the White River flooding, we had to detour through "duck country'' coming home. It took us 3 hours instead of the normal 2 to Memphis. This was about 45 minutes from home. I couldn't pass up taking a picture of this pitiful face!
I got my wish for Mother's Day! A weekend getaway with my boys doing all the things that Dylan loves to do!
