Go AWAY bug!

It has been pretty crazy around here for the last week.  Both boys are sick.  I am officially learning what it is like to have more than one child and have sickness in your house!  No matter how much Lysol I sprayed, Caleb ended up with the virus, too! Dylan has croup and a nasty virus.  Symptoms: barky cough, fever that at one point was hovering 103, and a yucky snotty nose.  We have been to the doctor twice, and  for a chest x-ray to check for pneumonia.  He is on an inhaler for the cough, and Zyrtec for the runny nose.  His fever finally broke yesterday, but I have yet another call in to the doctor's office to try and get something different to get rid of this cough!

On to the little man,
He will be 3 months old tomorrow, WOW!  He got sick Friday night.  His cough is not croupy (thank goodness), but very loose due to the insane amount of drainage.  Saturday he cried when he was awake, and that is not how Caleb acts!  When he is awake, he is cooing and smiling!  His Daddy and I took turns rocking him in the chair Saturday night. (Side note: I am thankful and blessed that I have a husband and the boys have a daddy that will take his turn or several turns rocking babies and wiping snot) Caleb is also struggling to nurse, because he is so stopped up.  So, I called the nurse about him on Saturday, but they said unless his fever reaches 100.4, then just chalk it up to a virus and wait it out.  The "nose sucker" has become our best friend. :(  He may be going in to the doctor today to be "deep suctioned."  Gross, I know, but hey, you do what ya gotta do!

So, now that my readers are completely disgusted at all this information about snot, I will leave you with a few pictures of the boys.  You can tell that they aren't quite up to par, but I still realized that I am blessed that this is all I am dealing with at my house.  It will most certainly pass.  We are praying that our boys are on the mend this week, because at some point, this Mama is going to need to take a shower :)
Last night, a little out of it, but handsome!

Glassy eyed, but sweet!

This morning, in cartoon world :)

Smiling at Disney Junior, LOL.

Usually awake at this time, just puny, but sweet!
