Fall Crafting Continued...

I wanted to start doing fun crafts with Dylan. This was probably the first craft we did, even though I blogged in an earlier post the cute Mickey Mouse pumpkin. It was Dylan's first time to paint! I didn't have the right paints, but we did the best with what we had. He LOVED using the paint brush. He painted his first masterpiece and it is hanging on our fridge!Love those messy hands!
Love his attention to detail as he paints this little canvas for his baby brother. I hung it from a shelf in Caleb's room!
And how would a painting session be complete without painting your feet! Bath followed very quickly!
Fall Craft: Tissue Paper Pumpkin
All you need is orange and green tissue paper, a paper plate, and a glue stick. Cheap!

I found out pretty quickly that he preferred using the glue stick and have Mommy put the pieces of tissue paper on the plate!
Ta-dah!
Fall Craft: Fingerprinting Leaves
All you need is fingerpaint (this Crayola is AWESOME, dries fast, washes off with water)
and construction paper!
I traced his arm and hand to be the tree trunk and branches. He loved making "dots" for leaves! The finished product is also on the fridge and it turned out SO CUTE!
He really enjoys doing crafts. We have been into Play-doh here lately! My sister found a little puppy dog that makes doggy hair, tongue, biscuits, baby puppies, sticks, balls, etc. He will sit for an HOUR and play with it! So fun! Happy fall!

Pumpkin Patch!

We took a family trip to the Pumpkin Patch in Roland. We headed out early Saturday morning, Oct. 8, and ate breakfast at Chick-fil-A. Win for EVERYONE! We were the first customers at the patch! Nice!
He enjoyed touching the little piglets noses!
How tall is Dylan? Looks like about 3 feet!
The patch was the perfect size for us. Checking out the rows of pumpkins!
I sure do love this little boy!
This is the pumpkin that he picked out!
Our family enjoying the fall morning. I'm 37 weeks in this picture!
I did go on the hay ride with my boys. I guess I had a moment of insanity, because once that tractor started moving, I realized what a poor decision that was for a girl that's 37 weeks pregnant! It was a pretty uncomfortable ride for this Mama, but Dylan enjoyed it so very much! Glad to make this memory with our oldest little son!

More Family Pictures!

Caleb's Baby Shower!

My girlfriends at church had a shower to help us celebrate baby Caleb! The decorations were awesome and so very "me!" The food was awesome too! Who doesn't like brunch??!!I am very blessed to have an awesome mom, mother-in-law, and sister that are always there to support, love, and help us out!
My great hostesses and friends! Lucky to have these girls in my life!
Such a cute gift! Stickers for Caleb's onesies to show his monthly milestones!
Cute itty bitty camo moccasins!
My sister made lots of homemade gifts for Caleb! How cute are these matching brother shirts?!
Loved this little brother t-shirt! Dylan has a big brother one that coordinates!
My sister and Craig made Caleb a toy box. It has a sliding chalkboard lid (perfect to NOT smash those precious fingers!) and activities to do on the side of the box! What an awesome Uncle Craig and Aunt Carole for my boys to have in their life!Glad Jennifer could come to the shower! We are Momma's raising boys!
I am thankful that Lana and Carrie are great friends and shared this special day with me!
We are getting closer and closer to meeting baby Caleb! Hard to believe it is less than a month away!

Mack's Fall Festival

My parents took Dylan to Stuttgart, AR for the Mack's Fall Festival on 9-30-11. When he got up Friday morning, I told him that Pop and Mawmaw were coming to take him to see the 4wheelers and the ducks! They walked through the door at 8 and he proclaimed, "Go see ducks and 4 wheelas!" He was ready! My mom said that he absolutely loved EVERYTHING and was a great little boy!

Here he is driving the Ranger...
Beep, beep!Apparently he tested out each four wheeler twice!
They said that his favorite thing was probably running through the open field checking out the geese and ducks!
He thought the tents were pretty cool. I guess that means in a few years this Momma is going to have to learn how to camp in a tent?! TBD...
What fun to ride on Pop's shoulders!
They had a picnic in the back of "Pop's truck" and he loved his GIANT corn dog!Hopefully, we will be able to do this every year. Next year, Caleb will get to join in on the fun!
