Look who's 3 1/2!

On April 24th, Caleb had his "half" birthday!  We like to count half birthdays around here!
Caleb William
Height: 40 inches
Weight: 34 1/2 pounds

*You are full of spunk, silliness, cuddles, and laughter!
*You love doing anything and everything that your brother is doing!  Yet, you still have quite a soft spot for your Mommy.
*If you get hurt, you get ANGRY about it.  No one can console you.  Once you calm down, then you want Mommy to hold you for a while.
*You are still taking naps, but we have shortened them quite a bit to cooperate with bedtime.  You take about an hour nap each day and you usually skip one or two a week, depending on what we are doing.  You really function well without one, but then you are in bed at 7:00 and asleep by 7:02!
*You really love basketball.  Even though you like t-ball, soccer, and golf, I think basketball could be your favorite!
*You had to dress up in your soccer uniform for all of Dylan's games.  You are #1 my sweetheart!
*We really enjoyed our Tues/Thurs mornings together just us.  We went to the donut shop and you had to "eat inside!"  You picked the pink icing with sprinkles and some donut holes, too!
*You are a lover of food.  You like to eat and can seriously put some food away!  You love getting the purple milkshake at Purple Cow!  You also love any excuse to sit with me!
*You still love to eat mac 'n cheese and have come over to the happy side and love peanut butter and jelly sandwiches!
*You love being with your Pop and your Pawpaw!  You pick them over the rest of us if they are around! Here, you went fishing with Pop at the farm and we captured the best video of all time.  You kept yelling at Dylan to not let the fish bite you!  It was priceless.
*You can officially write your name all by yourself! Here, you made windows for the house and drew trees and grass.
*We have started practicing your cutting skills, well all of your fine motor skills.  You were so excited to have your own little workbook!  You are so ready to go to PreK-3 2 days a week next year. You know your teacher and ask me often when it will be time to go to school.
*You are starting to get the hang of golf!  You love your 7 iron the most and Daddy has helped you with your stance and swing!
*You are still my cautious child.  You want to be as brave and fearless as Dylan, but you can't seem to pull the plug on that.  I love how you are your own person and we embrace that.  You like swinging more now that you used to, but you always say, "a little bit higher" or "not too much higher."
*You now say that red is your favorite color and not blue.  I think because red is Dylan's favorite color.
*You still call a watch a "heart".  I love this and believe it is because it "ticks" or "beats."  You also still say "efalant" for elephant.
*You ask for 2 rocks and 2 rest(es) at nap time.  I always oblige even though I'm not really sure what you mean.
*You do not like your hands to be dirty at meal time.  We go through a lot of wipes.  You also will not eat at the table with your shirt off.  I guess that is good manners starting young!
*You love to sing and know pretty much every word to every song on Radio Disney.  One day I am going to catch you singing all those words on video.
*You still do not wake up on the happy side of the bed.  It generally takes you a while to snap out of that sleepy slumber.
*You love love love everything Berenstein Bears.  We read one each at nap time and bed time.
*You also love Star Wars just like your brother.  You prefer pretending to be Han Solo, and Dylan is Luke Skywalker when you play.  You have perfected that light saber sound.
*We love to see you smile.  Your eyes light up a room.  You are full of joy and make all of us laugh.

Thanks for being you sweet boy.  I told your Daddy the other day, that since God brought you into our lives, we have been filled with much more laughter.  Oh, what a gift!  Happy 3 1/2!
